Read John 7:14 -24
John 7:14-18. Jesus was questioned about where his knowledge was from. He claimed his knowledge was from the Lord and he taught for God’s glory not his own. Is the way that you live your life for your own Glory or is it for the glory of the one sent us because God has sent all of us he's commissioned all of us he's called All of Us build up his kingdom and so how's your Bible reading going? How's your relationship with God? Are you reading and applying what he's saying to your life? I want to encourage you as I encourage myself to read the scriptures and to think about what they mean for you.
John 7:19-20. The people claimed that Jesus had a demon. Jesus did not have a demon but we could. However there is freedom in the mighty name of Jesus. This is a real thing and a real threat to believers and to non-believers as well but if we believe in Jesus Christ then the Bible teaches us that we have the authority to demolish demonic strongholds and to cast out demons, which we can do for ourselves as well as others.
John 7:21-24. Jesus then told the people that he was working on God’s behalf again and for them to stop judging wrongly. It's easy to judge people by mere appearances but he does not want us to do that instead he wants us to develop a relationship with people of all walks of life. Do not judge people by mere appearances but instead judge correctly, which you can only do by intimately knowing someone. This is hard but it’s what God wants us to do to build up his kingdom. Will you get to know people who look different than you, like the Lord's calling me to? Join me in reaching out to everyone, so that many sinners can receive the gospel of Jesus. Everyone needs Jesus, not just those that look good on the outside.
