Read John 10:1-21
In this passage Jesus teaches about being the good shepherd. In this parable Jesus talks about caring for sheep and protecting them from wolves and thieves.
While there are many aspects to focus on, today will you consider your relationship with the Lord? With everything going on in your life, how often do you seek comfort in Jesus? How often do you remember the promises that Jesus has made to you? Jesus says in John 10:10b I've come that they(the sheep) may have life and have it to the full.
Are you experiencing life to the full? Jesus came so that can be your testimony. even in the midst of trials and difficulties. With Jesus you can find peace, rest, and comfort. If you are struggling, remember what Jesus has promised to you. If you believe in Jesus he knows you and he loves you. If you believe in Jesus he listens to you and protects you. If you follow him, he will bring you to places of rest. He is your Good Shepherd and he will never abandon you. As Paul writes in Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, have been called according to his purpose.
Whether you are on the mountain or in the Valley, reflect regularly on the love that Jesus has for you and find comfort in him and his purpose for your life. His presence will never leave you and you can always find peace in him.
Take time daily to reflect on the love and goodness of God and spend time praising him through worship. You can worship God in many ways but do not forget all that God has done for you and is doing for you. Spend time celebrating God and worshiping the good shepherd.
